Cetus wisps are commonly used in a few different blueprints in Cetus. They are used in Amp, Arcane, Zaw and a few cosmetic blueprints. As such, one might find themselves in need of quite a few of these pesky resources. We are going to show the route we use to farm roughly 1 — 3 Cetus Wisps every 2 minutes without a resource booster. This results in over 30 Cetus Wisps per hour on the low end, or over 60 Cetus Wisps if using a resource booster.
Cetus Wisp Efficient Farming Guide
Cetus Wisps are an important resource, that are not conventionally farmed. They are also a requirement for Gilding Zaws. Cetus Wisps are found in the Plains of Eidolon, along the sides of water sources. Most commonly Gara Lake The largest Lake. The warframe you use in the Plains of Eidolon is not that important. If you do take Volt, focus on Strength, Duration and Efficiency for a faster and longer speed boost at a minimal energy cost. If you are looking to maximize your Wisp collection per minute, you want to have the Itzal Archwing. It has three very useful abilities for collecting Cetus Wisps without leaving the Archwing. If you are looking to farm more casually, you can use any Archwing or K-Drive to move around, or even bullet jumping. There is also a companion mod called Animal Instincts and a Primed version, only one of these may be equipped.
First of all, getting max loot radar is the most important thing since Wisps show up on the minimap. Next up, pick a fast frame of your choosing to run the route quickly. I suggest using a Nova with maxed Power Efficiency and Range so you can skip over lakes and portal directly into Wisp spawn locations. Time of day also directly impacts the spawn rate of Cetus Wisps. From my testing in this route you get Wisps per day and Wisps per night and double that with boosters. To loot the Wisps, simply walk over them. They will run from you in about 5 seconds if you don't loot them immediately, so don't wait around for too long.
Strange stone lifeforms that call the Plains home. They are a rare find, clustering together, floating above a patch of ground they've taken inexplicable interest in. They are an enigma. Cetus Wisps are generally found on the banks of Gara Toht Lake and the smaller pools of landlocked water.
